I have had to make several calls, plastic, flies, wood. I have found many things in my food. But not string. When you call the number on the box you will need to give them all your contact info, address and the barcode etc, then they will send you vouchers. Unfortunately it will not be $500 worth like someone said but maybe a box or two.

You can call the company and complain, they will probably send you a coupon for a free box of crackers. As for an explaination, a string from some workers clothing fell into the mix...

That's not good....I never had that kind of problem before though I hear a lot of weird things ending up in your boxed food. The worst I heard yet was a band-aid. I'll definitely call the company if I find a band-aid in my box of crackers but for string I don't know...

More than likely the string was from the flour sack.
However - you should definitely call the company. There should be 1-800 number on the box somewhere - if not - check on line.
Gross - I hate when things like that happen!

Cool...You can call the company and they will probably want you to send it to them. They will offer you a coupon for a free box of crackers. You can also take it to the FDA and they will write a report on it and probably fine the company. I got Pepsi fined once and they still sent a case of soda for free. I sat for three hours at the FDA while they wrote a report on the defective can liner in the soda can.

Freaky things like this happen all the time. Things fall in the vat where the food is prepared and packaged. Definitely call the company and hold on to the evidence. Just think of it this way it could've been a tampon string, or is it? Ewwww gross.

It happens.
I know someone who found string in their crackers also, but it was a few years ago. If you call up the company, they will send you some free stuff.

Call the company and act real grossed out tell em you eat alot of them and they will give you coupons and free stuff forever. I did that when I found a grasshopper in my green beans. Coulda feel off one of the workers shirts, hats, etc.
