Evolution could not possibly be the cause of our world and the millions of species that inhabit it.
It is interesting to me that people don't believe in God. We are all different. No two people are the same. Is that not proof enough? Plus, most athiests that ask questions on here ask them in an insulting way. Is that not proof that with out God, a person is miserable?

The issue isn't the level of difficulty.
Oh, ok. I assume you have proof of that?
No.
Christians have done the same.
Nope. By your definition, asking an insulting question means one is miserable. So how then do you explain miserable christians? Because there's a handful who ask insulting questions (case in point - you!) Conversely, does that mean if one does NOT ask an insulting question, one is NOT miserable? I've never asked an insulting question and I'm an atheist. What might that mean?

No, asking a question in an insulting way is not proof that, without god, a person is miserable. What makes non-theists miserable is knowing that some of their neighbors are so incredibly selfish that they would force their particular favorite brand of religion upon everyone else, regardless of freedom of choice and freedom of conscience. That makes us miserable.

Oh, and I'm sorry you can't fathom evolution, but that doesn't make it false. Just because we don't have simple answers for every question evolution asks doesn't mean we should just throw up our hands, go back to the stone age, and attribute everything in nature to supernatural forces.

Only certain religions believe in God, therefore, not everyone believes in God and there's nothing wrong about that. Being an athiest does not automatically make a person miserable. People believe the way they want to believe and that's that.

Well perhaps you are blind to the amount of insulting questions that come from CHRISTIANS on here...is that proof that god is a hateful jerk too?....since you were made in his image, right? I'm far from miserable....I love life very much and do whatever I can to help people. I'm one of the happiest people and I have NO religion....when I had religion or "god" in my life I was MISERABLE!! Why should it matter to you that I don't believe in your imaginary friend? Using the beauty that is nature as proof is quite a weak argument indeed.

Why don't you believe in Thor or Odin, isn't it just as possible that the Vikings had it right and you've been following a false God all your life. Please get a clue,so many things have been proven impossible or just flat wrong in the Bible I have no idea how anyone with moderate intelligence could take it seriously. Science has spent the last 2000 years picking the Bible apart piece by piece and rather than accept that it was wrong the Church simply changes their interpretation. Unfortunately that didn't help Father Giordano Bruno who was burned at the stake for saying the Earth revolved around the sun and was convicted of heresy.

First off its not hard at all to not believe in god..I mean if your Ignorant and uneducated then...yes it is very hard to not believe in god but for thoes of us who study the history of man...and the millions of "other" gods who have come and gone throughout history..we know that the god of christianity and all the other ones around today are just mere steppingstones in the psyche of human evolutions. And as far as Evolution goes...
"Any creative intelligence,of suffiecient complexity to design anything, comes into existence only as the end product of an extended process of gradual evolution." Period!

Im very damn miserable and for some reason i still belive that somthing greater than me makes the world go round! But its nothing like your "god"! Anything that ,makes you put people into a box is wrong! and thats exactly what the bible does!

I believe in God. I also believe in evolution. My life is not miserable, and I don't see the atheists as being the only ones who ask questions in an insulting way.

We don't need to think alike to be good loving people.

Love and blessings Don

It's hard for me to believe in god because when I look around, I see evidence that ther can't possible be a xian god (omnipotent, omniscient, all-loving). As for a greek god that has human failings, it's harder to argue against, but whatever.

Evolution has stood up for over 150 years and every develpoed country accepts and studies it as science. I seriously doubt you have studied a college level course that went into evolution in depth.

As for your last 2 questions, they really don't merit response and reflect the logic of an adolescent.

Many selfish people want to answer to no one but themselves and others blame religion, in general, for all of the world's problems, especially war. They think that if not for religious beliefs, the occupants of this planet would find nothing to fight about. They fail to realize that the vast majority of charitable donations are made by religious folks and ALL liberation efforts are initiated by people who feel that we were all CREATED equal and deserve freedom and opportunity. If not for a belief in an almighty God, there would be no pretense that all men were CREATED equal and therefore no USA to speak of in the first place.
