Of course it is normal, we all hope our children are more successful that we were. My son is 10 and I hope he grows up and changes the world. You daughter sounds very secure at such a young age and that is good (the strong will would be the only problem LOL!!) No, what you are feeling is absolutely normal. Who knows what our children can do if only given the chance.

I think its wonderful. Cudos to you for having high expectattions and hopes for her. APPLAUSE ... STANDING OVATION
Your attitude probably rubbed off on her. Lucky girl for having such an awesome momma
They say that two people with the same intelligence and motivation... the only difference is one is more sociable... the one with better social skills will be the more successful, so I always encourage mine to play... it is as important as the academics

Yes, it is normal considering the traits you have been able to recognize in her. Nearly all parents see their children as being really successful. I can only advise that you help and encourage her to develop these potentials that you have recognized in her so as to empower her the more.

It is wonderful that you have that belief in your daughter. Nurture that idea in her mind and let her realize that with hard work and determination almost anything is possible. Remember that there are plenty of very successful people who were not great academics.

I think it's normal really. You can hope for great things but to think they will be is far fetched
