I call your attention to Leviticus 11:9-12, of which I will quote the last verse:
"Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the wates, that shall be an abomination unto you."
The word "abomination" is used four times in this section, three times more than it is used in reference to homosexuality. I conclude from that, that God is four times more opposed to eating shellfish than he is to homosexuality.
So what are you waiting for? Especially those of yu who crusade against homosexuality because the Bible says it's an "abomination". You should go down to your local Red Lobster (or any seafood restaurant that serves lobster and shrimp) and have a protest march. God wills it!

How can Jesus ahve changed the Law when he said, "Think not that I have come to change the Law"? And if he was God, and God is "the same yesterday, today, and forever", how could he change his mind on anything??

According to one of the OT prophets. Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed for a failure of the duty of Hospitality. Not homosexuality!
According to scholars, this story is a myth. There WAS no Sodom or Gomorrah.

The dietary restrictions were under the law, in the old testament. In the new testament, we are under a new covenant, because Jesus fulfilled the law requirements. If it was important not to eat certain foods then, I'm OK with it now. Homosexuality is another subject. Its in the new testament, and in the old at least two cities were destroyed because of it. I'm no bully, but as a Christian, I must believe the bible is Gods word and behave accordingly. I eat no meat, fish or poultry, so the dietary laws don't affect me anyway.

At a glance, your thoughts appear sound, however,
One can not know God's thoughts on a matter unless *all* of his words on the matter are sincerely pondered, their context and their, (I know you will like this word), their 'evolution' through Biblical teaching.
Just as a parent lets up on some of the 'rules' as their child gets a little older and their surroundings become a bit more manageable, so did God with his people, however, the stated sin of homosexuality is not a rule that we see God having ever let up on. In fact, he continues to remind us throughout the old and new testament that it is and will always be an abomination.
I do agree, however, that with only the verses you have shared here, that it does sound like Christians are picking and choosing.

Alright but When Jesus came and replaced law with faith for the gentiles, he made all things clean that is prayed over...see acts11:5-9. The homosexuality issue is still considered an abomination according to Jesus.

MARK 7:15-19 Jesus declares all food clean. He told his disciples that what enters a man from the outside cannot defile since it enters his stomach and not his heart. Good Try.

For the ten thousandth time...gentile believers were never held to Levitical laws.
Homosexuality is not a sin only in the Old Testament, Romans 1 condemns it as a sin as well.
However, I'm sure I'll see this thrown in our faces yet again, tomorrow!

Often it is not what goes into a mans mouth that defiles him but what comes out of his mouth. However there are some things that go in and out of his mouth several times per minute that surely defiles him.

Conservative christians are afraid of homosexuals. I am sure they are scared of live lobsters, too. But once they are sliced open and steamed, the fear subsides and the feasting begins.
I am not suggesting that they slice open, steam and eat homosexuals dipped in clarified butter, be clear on that!
I am suggesting that fear and ignorance are the deciding factors in which battles people choose. I think the real abomination is their unwillingness to overcome their inadequacies and hide behind carefully chosen biblical text.
