When you remove the diaper, cover him so he won't shoot you. Have another one already handy and close by. If your baby is really prone to peeing when free, then cover him with a wet wipe as you do a quick diaper swap.

I always put the clean diaper underneath while I take off the old diaper and use the new diaper as a guard if the baby decides to pee. I never had a baby pee while I changed a diaper so I haven't had that problem.

Boy do i know what you are talking about. I have two boys. What we learned to do is to change him upside down. By this i mean standing by his head and fasting his diaper the way you are supposed to just from a different view point. lol also it helps to have everything diaper , cream, wipes ect. at the ready so that as soon as the diaper is off you can hurry the new one on. Good luck and congrats on the baby.

We provide him "forbidden" products to play with which includes his shoe, the comb, an empty bag of wipes, the wipe field, the diaper cream and then pass super quickly. i attempt to get his pants off as we can the exchange table and then pass as quickly as we are in a position to. moist diapers are not frequently a huge deal however the poopy ones can get messy if i do no longer draw close directly to the two legs! i'm thinking approximately doing the get up diaper changes for moist ones as quickly as we pass up yet another length interior the subsequent week or so, on the grounds that they're going to pass on greater advantageous.

Try to put a cloth diaper/burp rag/towel over his/her bottom when you take their diaper off! Also, try not to react one way or another when this happens--if they see it gets a rise out of you, then they really love that!

when you start to take his old diaper off to put on a new one hold the old one over him until you get the new one ready, you don't have to hold it against his skin, just between you and him until you can get the clean diaper on him... good luck, I know what you're going through I have boys too.

oh my!
Just keep the front end covered up while you do your work, you could even use a receiving blankie to cover up, I would cover with the new diaper while I was adjusting or wiping the bottom, and he would waste the new one, so i'd stick with a small blanket!

If it's a boy, then you lay a wash cloth over his penis so that he can't pee in your face.

If it's a girl peeing in your face, you have to roll her over or something because she is pointed in the wrong direction.

Good luck.
