We sometimes share a king size bed with a body pillow between us and I get so hot when he is there that I have to turn the air on and then he complains about being so cold. Is there anything I can do to stay cool when I'm around him? or anything he can do?? I even have a "Chillow" (a pillow filled with water that stays cool as long as u have your head or body on it) but even that doesn't help! He has been working out more and now it seems like he is even warmer. Our wedding is in July.....help us

I have the same problem. I usually try to buy sheets that are thinner than most and have a cool feel to them when you get into bed. I have a very nice blanket/comforter that I usually do not use but my boyfriend does. So that keeps him warm during the night. No matter what season it is I have to wear something cool to bed.

If he is heavy and he is currently losing weight, his "body thermostat" might reset to a cooler temperature after he's thinner. Or maybe you don't really want to marry him. It doesn't really sound very good that you are chilling your man every time you sleep together and then asking strangers what to do. If you were really convinced that he is the guy for you, you would have found a solution or you would have declared this to be a non-problem. Him under a blanket/ you uncovered or with less covers; Twin-style beds that can push together or apart; holding each other more to link your internal temperature regulating to each other? I can think of several things that I would try, but if I knew that I had an unexpressed doubt about my future mate, nothing would work. Better that you should decide before July.

This sounds like a question to ask your doctor. Perhaps your hormones are out of whack. One thing that I do when I feel too hot at night is keep a box of baby wipes at the bedside. I use them to dampen my skin just a little bit, then the air in the room feels cooler. A damp washcloth could work too, with a small covered container of water that you can dip the cloth into now and then to refresh it. If these things do not help, then perhaps there is an emotional reason for your problem. Ask a psychiatrist if nothing else helps. Are you angry with him, or getting "cold feet" at the idea of marriage? It's best to find out now, before the ceremony.

My husband and i figured this out yrs ago..Been together 21 yrs now.Buy two over-sized twin beds.Place side by side leaving about 2 inches in between beds.Place a block between the legs to keep beds from being pushed together. You won't believe how much cooler you will be.A king sized comforter or bed spread will fit over the top to make it look just like a king size bed.

Wow... you lucky dog. I wish I had a 'hot' fiancee!

I wonder why he is so hot though? Is he abnormally hot? Push the bed against the wall on one side and sleep next to the wall. Let him cover up, but only sleep with a sheet instead of a blanket if you are so hot. Keep the chillow between you. If that doesn't work, he should go to a doctor to see why he is 'giving off too much heat.'

Twin beds would work but you may wear out the carpet between them so that just causes another problem.

Wow did you read Big M's answer, that person has serious problems I think. Puritans will never learn that sex is a natural instinct of all animals including mankind.

I think the m in her name stands for miserable.

Congratulations to you both!.My hubby Dr. says that there may be some sort of inflammation or infection going on -- do blood, urine, and stool cultures to see if any infection shows up...if your husband were consulting with my husband, he'd start the search there. As per my guy, there may be a lot of different reasons for his heat. I used to be the high heat one between us and we did a blood culture and found an infection (an then my thyroid was off...) It's really worth the time for check ups, as it can prevent unforseen problems in the future.
Once again, congratulations!

I love that my bf gives off alot of heat... i'm the one that's always cold... and cuddle right up to him... we do sleep with the fan on for him.. but I'm usually the one with my head stuffed under all the blankets. my suggestion is to cuddle until you are too warm.. then make sure he has a few extra blankets.. so you can have the fan on... you both will win..:)
