Go with LCD for that size. They are more durable, don't have burn in issues like the plasma.

Go with LCD, they are less prone to problems than Plasma. Another consideration is weight if you want to mount on a wall, plasma tv's are ridiculously heavy. Also there is almost no problem with glare on LCDs. Prices have come down on LCDs and will continue to fall all through next year. I purchased a Samsung 40" LCD HDTV a few months ago and it has worked flawlessly. I did a few months of research before I made my decision and for a well price high performance LCD I would definately recommend a Samsung. I would definately suggest that you check newegg.com as well as the major retailers and check reviews on the different sets before you buy, also check consumerreports.org.

Depends on Your room Size and where the Unit will be sighted.
The Size of screen is Normally Multiplied By 4 to obtain the Best Viewing.(i.e 32 Inch screen x4 = 128 inches seated away from the screen for the best View)

I spent 2 Months researching and Decided to go with LCD!

The Picture Clarity is far superior to that of a Plasma!.
The Panasonic VIERA Range of LCD TVs is way-ahead of the competition and Has 2 HDMI Inputs as well as 5 Years technology Built in.
The size of my room dictates that a 32 Inch would be More than adequate and I am very happy !
I went to a small Chain of retailers who provided me with the Best price,Installation and After service guarantee!(5 year Guarantee-For FREE!)
Not that there are problems (Long Term) with LCD.
Current run time is around 200,000 Hours and No Screen Burn-Unlike Plasma which is prone to this!
