All jobs have hassles and people we would not choose to work with.
However it sounds as though you have reached the stage when you are so disillusioned that you are likely to make mistakes you would not normally make.
So much of your time is spent at work that it is not good to carry on in a situation which you dislike so much. If it gets too bad it could affect your health.
It sounds as if your Boss is a bully. Remember all bullies are weak and covering up for their own inadequacies by making someone else's life a misery.
Find another job first and then leave.

If you are not happy in any work place you dont belong there anymore..If an Employeer yells or mistreats you, thats against federal law.NO ONE CAN TALK TO you that way! especially in a work place..If you feel that you're rights have been violated call an attorney and see what adivce they can offer you..Otherwise find another job and tell your boss that you are giving you two weeks notice. If he asks why you dont have to answer ..so the best reponce would be a) I need more time for school b) my family needs me at this time c) Im moving out of the city and need someplace closer to home d) I really cant get into that at this time its personal. BEST of luck to you Misty~*

My boss is just like that. All you have to do is pull your boss to the side and let him know how you feel. Tell him to stop coming to you sideways (out of pocket). He is just naturally rude and he has no life after work, thats why he cares so much about his work.

Don't hurt his feelings. Maybe he is struggling with his own life changes. He really needs you now.

Don't take his crap.

Give him another week, maybe he didn't realize what an @ss he was being.

Line up another job, though.

Just quit.....you can't change bad habits like that.
Besides you make it sound like you need his permission to quit.
