Well, I don't know about the irritable bladder, but with irritable bowel I do have and when I was in college it was hard for me to stay in school and for work its hard sometimes. I am currently taking a prescription for it but most of the time it just happens anyway. My job said that as long as I have a doctor write them my diagnosis that my absence will be acceptable. I hope everything gets better. Tell her to stay relaxed, stress free it usual helps to stop triggering it.

I had a friend with this some years back and I do know that she used to drink lots of water to keep the system flushed through. We lost touch though so I have no idea how she is doing now.
