I think the idea of "needing a hero" is kind of distasteful. The idea that some man on a big white horse needs to come and save me... come on! I think that anyone who is waiting for someone else to come and save them has some major growing up to do.
That said, my idea of a hero is someone who takes care of those who cannot take care of themselves. Someone who is dedicated to fighting against injustice, someone who is good to their friends and family, someone who is upright and who has strong morals. Noone is perfect, but my idea of a hero is someone who really tries their best.

Some one who is there to hold me when I'm down, make me feel that no matter how bad things have gotten he is there to love me... a person I feel completely comfortable around and truly loved by... that's my hero..
If a man can stand by you when your at your worst and still think you are the best that's a hero.

the song hero was used for a t.v. show sometime ago and it had Jon Erik Henson in it . He was a good looking guy but there was an accident on the set and he put a gun too close to his head and one of the blanks in the gun went into his head and he was brain dead. So Sad . It also had Jennifer Oneal in it . anyway that is where the song came from. A guy who always puts me first in his life.

someone who is there for me no matter what! if i aint got no money (he is still there) when i am feeling like s**t and looking like it too (he is still there) when i have lost the plot (he is still there) when i need a hug (he is still there) a hero is someone very special when you have found one dont let go there isnt many out there

Some manly man that is strong enough to pull me out of my wheelchair whenever it goes up in flames...Don't have very many manly men around here, they're all deteriorating quite fast too.
