Flirting is a great way to up ones self esteem. It does not need to lead to sleeping with someone. At times i think it is more fun to flirt with someone you know you cant have. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for a lover or just wanting to enjoy the moment with no harm done?

People flirt for a number of reasons hun:
When you fancy someone - to try and let this person know you like em and would be up for more than just chatting.
When you wana spite someone - people often flirt to lead someone on - then drop em as soon as that person shows interest
Flirting for an ego trip - its just fun and lets face it - everone likes getting attention from the opposite sex!

Flirting is good. I flirted with John 29 years ago. We have been married for 28 years. I loved flirting with him the first few times we met. At first I didn't know his name but the flirting on both sides was wonderful!

I enjoy the odd flirt and definitely don't do it because i want to sleep with someone. it's more like having the chance to be charming ,and sometimes to outwit your prey, in a playful manner. It put smiles on faces :¬)
on the other hand I would still find a straight talking bloke,such as yourself quite charming too, as long as you still have a sense of humour at times.

Flirting is like saying I am interested, but not in so many words, with no strings attached. You cant always talk to someone you attracted too, for whatever reasons! A flirtatious moment makes your day! Makes you feel like you still have it in you!

im a flirt but i do even know im doing it,i love to joke and talk to ppl and some ppl class that as flirting.as long as no one gets hurt whats the problem,it does make you feel good tho doesnt it

It is fun, think its like animals, flirting, courting so you can tell what someones like and whether they would be good as parents (talking bout genes and reproduction) Like survival of the fittest, the female can 'choose' who fathers her baby, as she only has 'one egg' she will be fussy and hard to get. does that make any sense?bit jumbled

its all from our animal days im afraid!!! all to do with the courtship dance (like all animals in the animal kingdom - take the peacock and his tail). Natuaraly built in to impress the opposite sex especially in the male point of view
