Have they ever explianed to you that they didn't want to hurt you and they need space? Have they ever come back to you after they've had their "space?"

It happens that they come back. But the question is Do you want them when they come back? You should always question a guy who wants space. Either you are too on top of him or he needs space to see someone else, to test the waters. If he said he didn't want to hurt you, then listen. Date around. And if he does come back to you and you're free and interested in him, then go back out. But don't just run to him. Don't let him think that he can have you when he wants to. He's the one that chose space, so if he does come back to you, give him a little competition. Let him see that your world does not revolve around him. Let him regret that he chose a break. You have pride, use it. Don't call or bother him. Let him come chasing you back.

Saying "I want some space" usually means that he doesn't wanna be with you anymore. I hate to tell you but, it's the nice way of dumping somebody.

It happened to me.. The guy came back after a little while and said that he realized that I was all he wanted. But at that time I wasn't free, and we didn't get a chance to see what could've been.

Just be grateful he asked for space versus you finding him with someone else, if he comes back it was meant to be if he dosent baby there are PLENTY FISHES IN THE SEA, yah dig?

My ex did that, and we were cool for a while. I think he didn't really use that time the way he intented. He's still very confused and searching for some sense of direction!

yes, my boyfriend just dumped me 2 days ago and said that, and alos that he had "problems" to work out with some people. Turned out, he cheated on me last weekend and he likes that girl. guys suck. lol
