Is there an interactive map that we can use virtual pins to mark locations?

I am doing a children's sermon and want to point out places in the world where we give to missions. I want to have the children locate the places on the map and then place a pin there.

Google Earth can do this if you have an On-Line connection.

I don't know of anything. Maybe call a software house, or a bookstore for this. Computers used to use "light pens" to mark places on the screen.
