My husbands nephews are only 7 and 10 years YOUNGER than us. They actually come up to us and ask us what we are getting them for Christmas and birthdays. I'm sick of it because I wasn't brought up that way and it's not what Christmas is about. However, we do exchange gifts and I'm stumped on what to get them. They ALWAYS come straight out and ask for money. That's a HELL NO in my book. They like music and movies, but that's what we always seem to get them. Any suggestions? I need some help with these greedy teens.

if they are that greedy i wouldn't get them anything. they need to realize that the spirit of christmas is not about what gifts you get its the spirit and keeping christ in christmas. christmas has become too commericalized. christmas decorations are now in stores in july that doesn't make any sense. but if you decide to get them something get them a cd, movie or video game or tickets to the movies or may even cologne or a wallet shirts jeans hooded sweatshirt. hope this helps

I would get them a couple of applications, a job, college, and pell grant. Get them nothing for a change. My family is like yours. It is rude to beg for gifts even though we exchange them. But we always know that we can come to an Aunt or Uncle when they really need them. Seriously, get them something related to the true meaning of Christmas(religious). You may find this in your local bookstore in the religious section.

Anyone who has the cojones to actually ask what you intend on getting them should get bag of coal. Especially at that age.

Personally, I'd get them each a $25.00 gift certificate to some place like Home Depot. What would they do with that you say? Who gives a sh*t? After all my dear...it's the thought that counts. If they don't like it then tough.
If they complain, get them a gift certificate next year to a grocery store. You following me here? I'd make it a point to get them something worth something...but not worth anything to them.

Get it? I'd fix 'em with their "What are you going to get me this year" questions.
