Guys don't happen to think about what a girl looks like on the inside all they want is a perfect body and that is all that matters to them. Why don't you try looking inside GUYS!!!!!

I, on the other hand, like girls that are real. These skinny girls are obviously sheep trying to look like the other sheep. All the magazines put pictures of those disgusting skinny celebrities which is ruining society. Also, most men, excluding myself, are quite shallow and would chase after a rock if it was wearing a dress.
Yep, skinny girls are going to be passe. They just look so gross. Real women aren't afraid to look the way they were meant to look...nice and healthy!!! Rock on!!

You got the wrong perceptions about guys in general. Sure there are some Jerks that want the skinny. These are sickos as far as I'm concerned.. and those that are skinny obviously are annerexic.. sick too. I bet most guys really want females of average weight! They simply don't want tub of lard types. Those that want skinnys just want to show off their mate. they have no confidence in themself so they figure that if they get a skinny female then they will say that there female is better even if in their mind they really don't think so! Those that find a mate based merely on looks usually wind up getting divorced sooner or later. I hate skinny looks on either gender. I also hate people when they blab about someones gender and they have nothing to do with that someone. They probably sense the person is in transition and want to prevent that!

First, not all guys like skinny girls...boys do though. If a guy doesn't like you cuz you aren't skinny its their issue. They aren't mature enough to get past the outside. Bottom line here...that guy isn't for you or anyone that isn't skinny. Some guys are afraid of what their friends will think if they date a girl with some meat on her bones, its totally silly and immature but they do. Leave those boys in the dust and find a real man.

I don't think skinny girls are better... maybe you are saying here are those sexy girls... maybe guys are looking in the outside just to appreciate the beauty, to wonder how they those girls maintain that sexy figure... that's it... but of course, guys should also try to look inside...her attitude... if a skinny girl with a good and kind-hearted, that makes her the most beautiful woman in the universe... just like those contestants in Ms. universe... :)

my wife is "overweight" by a small amount and is obsessed with how she looks more than I would think. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Supposedly she is about 30 lbs overweight, I don't see it.
If you have not found a guy who can see past your appearance, sorry, but not all guys are like that and you have just had bad luck.
Then again if you are like 600 lbs, then there is a problem, people want their partner to be able to be as active as they are. If you are severely overweight, that is not always possible.

Some of these guys answering drive me crazy.
Not all skinny women take care of themselves. One of my friends is a size UK6, and she has 5 meals a day of what mostly contains chocolate, cheese and other unhealthy food. She's just lucky to have a fast metabolism that doesn't put any weight on.
I also have an overweight friend, she takes brilliant care of herself, eats healthily - as if on a diet, but not ... it's her good lifestyle! - and exercises. She just can't shift the weight as fast as she would like!
I hate these men who think being skinny means taking care of yourself. I'm not overweight, but I also don't consider myself to be the greatest keeper of "looking after myself".
Men do like both. As popular belief would have it, no guy wants to be grinding against a woman's hip bones.

the answer to this is simple. Men like a woman that is attractive on the outside as well as the inside. Men like to see that a woman can take care of herself so they wont be as dependant on the male in a relationship. If you are truely genuine and can take care of yourself, you have a much better chance in finding a man who will want you.

I am guessing you are young. Not all "guys" are like that, just immature or shallow ones. There are a whole group of men who enjoy looking at and being in the company of larger women. and Vice Versa . They are called BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN ADMIRERS. There are entire events, cruises, clubs, chat goups etc for BBW's(BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN), BHM(BIG HANDSOM MEN), and BBA's. Beauty is only skin deep!

It's a little difficult to explain why fat tends to be a HUGE turnoff, and the lure of attractiveness can have a powerful, captivating effect that puts fat women at a decided disadvantage. It might not seem right, or difficult to understand, but that's the way it is most of the time.
