both are good exercises

as stairs are usually in -doors , (handy when it is raining outside!)

and an incline/ hill , is usually outside, (so you get the benefit of fresh air,)

i would say incline is marginally better, for you.

to go with .this bit of exercise

Mix and match ,but don't use the lift!!!!

you cant go wrong with either method

good luck with the weight loss

I would say walking stairs because you actually use more muscles. Walking on an incline is a good way to lose weight to but it depends on how steep the incline is. I do both and it keeps my leg muscles and abs tone but don't try to over do it and be sure to drink lots of water while working out.
After you work out be sure to eat foods high in protein and low in calories because you lose protein while you're working out.

I would say they are probably about the same, but the incline would be a lot easier on your knees.

i would say walking up stairs is better because it works your leg muscles and the more muscle you have the faster calories burn when you are sitting down afterwards.
