I had my hair chemically straightened at the hairdresser. I had the same problem as you and it's also very humid where I live. It worked really well and wasn't expensive at all. It is still straight after about 3 or 4 months. If it's a really hot day I just run the straightener through it and it's good. Ceramic straighteners are the best, I use a Muster.

Getting it chemically straightened doesn't damage the hair. Everyone says it does, but my hair is exactly the same as before I had it done only straighter. It isn't dry at all. I just use a good shampoo and conditoner.

I might be able to help you. What kind of products are you using on your hair now? What is yiour hair type? You might want to try Biosilk when you straighten your hair. Or is you have a low cash flow try John Fredas Frizz Ease. Your Shampoo and Conditioner also have a lot to do with it as well. If your using cheap stuff like Sauve then thats half your problem. You have to look at your hair like an investment. You pay a little today and your hair will be beautiful all week!

Your solution is BAKING SODA !!
Just add about 1 teaspoon of baking Soda to your shampoo and mix it in with the shampoo. Massage it into your hair and let it soak for about 5 minutes. It will strip your hair from impurities and leave it super-soft and silky. Do this once a week and you shouldn't have any more problems with frizzy hair.

forget it babe! there is no product out there that will stop your hair frizzing when it gets hot n sweaty! i've tried everything myself! the best thing to do is go natural, and embrace your natural hair texture, if its wavy or curly mek the most of it. Buy products that enhance what you already got and not change it i'm sure it will look gorgeous if you put a little crativity into it! have fun chica!

if your in hot humid climate its a wast of time trying to straighten your hair.forget it honey you will only be damaging your hair tips with split ends like the veages divorce court.
just do what i do in goa india its over 90c and its red hot out there.and if your in a a/c home or office you can straighteen your hair,it will look limp in a while tho.
its no use of harming your hair just have it with loads of good leave in mosturiser and don't wast time straightning it.in humidity it don't work love.
good luck honey.
