What is SHOE?
SHOE has become the fresh and cool way to cruise through lesbian life. The aim is to spread the word, that being a lesbian is fun! Their slogan says just that: We no longer burn our bras, but wear our Wonderbras with Pride ;-)
SHOE provides a safe and friendly facility for women to meet each other in an easy, uncomplicated manner. Though SHOE isn't just about dating and meeting new friends; SHOE is also an enormous source of information. The community offers support, shared experiences, discussion forums, travel information, business contacts, worldwide event listings and travel guides to destination cities, a huge mailing list and much more.
SHOE is a community for lesbians but we welcome all women: Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgendered and heterosexual Women. That is why we named the site SHOE. Because: There are as many different kinds of shoes as there are women.
SHOE makes a great effort to put the human being as such first. We don't want to put the women in ready made boxes. Therefore in our member gallery you will find only baby pictures of our users. The reason for this? Easy: We want to make sure people get to know each other first without being judged by the looks.
