ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?
You must be in the mood to get flamed because this is the most absure question I have ever heard.
You think the mother should carry all the responsibility for a child they both made just in case he decides he doesn't feel like participating after the fact?
But hey, men tend to just walk away from their kids and not pay support anyway, so why bother with a waiver.

All people should be 'accountable' for whatever they do. If a man thinks he might not be 'up to' the task of fathering, it's his responsiblity to make sure he doesn't become a biologica 'donor' to a new life. If you want a 2 week trial period to accept a newborn - perhaps it would be a good idea to first have a 2 week 'cool down' period before you have sex.

Ha ha ha ha, you really know how to get them going, don't you? Can't believe people are taking this so seriously! Anyway 2 weeks is far too long, make it a couple of sleepless nights then decide. I loved it when my kids were new born, they're so perfect and delicate, you just can't help but love them and whisper stupid promises to them and protect them. By the way, not all woman are up to mothering on demand, ever heard of postnatal depression? Maybe you should both sign contracts, it may be you left holding the baby.

You should have thought of that BEFORE you helped make a baby. You're a Father whether you want to be or not...the choice was made the night you had unprotected sex with her. Now the question is "can you be a Dad?" A father is by birth....a Dad is someone special in a kids life. Make the right decision now!

Why is that? I totally disagree.. in two weeks, well if a man is not up for fathering, then he need to always use birth control..If he put the seed there, I think it is his responsibility to be a father..Tell him get a book on how to be a father..There are all these books for dummies...if i am not mistaken I think there is one entitled "Parenting for Dummies....Good luck
