The sugary smell you are talking about is the cocoa butter lotions they use to keep their skin moisturized. The black girls I was friends with in the Navy said they used it all the time to keep their skin from getting "ashy". Dry skin turns a whitish color when it gets really bad, and causes their dark skin to look a little like ashes. The cocoa butter is the lotion of choice for most of the black people I know. Speaking of dry skin... remind me to get some lotion from the store on the way home... mine's getting pretty bad too.

I know no black people who smell like sugar. They wear cologne or perfume. Besides, what's wrong with smelling like sugar? That's a very nice scent.

I dont know any black people who smell like sugar - but if they did, as others have said, maybe it is because they are so sweet?

Lol! You are funny, but they do I think they drink water with sugar or something like that, There are lots of black people where In my neighborhood and the train is always crowded in rush hour so i have notice that but its not all of them.
