The beer is still good to drink. Key things about beer in a can. Once beer has been cold it needs to stay cold until it is consumed. If it is cold and then warm then back to cold again the flavor of the beer will not be right. It will have a tin taste or worse. If it has been kept warm cool it down in ice or the fridge, Pop the top and enjoy. either way it is a Beer and Beer is to be enjoyed. Just remember not to drive afterwards.

Yes, it is safe to drink. The date tells you when the beer has its best taste before.

There is a statistical chance that it will be OK.
It is most likely not going to kill you though.
It does not say "Will Kill You after 27 AUG 06"
