I came to the UK in August 1992 when I was seven years old. Ever since then I have never left the Uk, not even for holidays. Presently I am 21 years old. I was sent to prison for class a drugs on a 2 years 6 months sentence. I was released on Home detention curfew in March 2006 this year. That's the very first time I've been in jail and I'm going to make sure that it's the last time. My problem now is that I'm facing a deportation order following my conviction. I got married by law this year 2006. I have a British born son and a British born wife who is currently pregnant with my second bouncing child. I also have an Indefinite Leave To Remain in the Uk. How can win this case please help me?

Find yourself a good solicitor first of all. I'm pretty sure you have a good case, with your wife and british born son. It would be a breach of human rights to separate you from your own child. Also how long ago was the drugs offence, if you have been clean for over 2 years, this will aid your case.

If in the event, that you were refused leave to remain and they did deport you, you and your wife will need to go to the British Embassy in your home country and apply for a Marriage Visa. If that is refused, your wife can appeal back home in the UK and should be able to bring you back.

Just hang in there and keep a positive attitude. Sometimes, you just have to fight for what you want and you will get there in the end. Take care : )

Sorry, I'm sympathetic about your family, but you are asking others to consider them, when you yourself did not give them a thought when you got mixed up with the drugs. It's rotten, but thems the breaks, man.

Go where you're sent, take the wife and babies with you and make a new start. You're still young. Britain's a great place, but it's not the only country in the world and it is no longer open to you anyway.

With suitable grounds for appeal.
As you seem to regret your past crime and have done your time I suggest you work on an iron clad defence. The fact that you are a family man will go in you defence. Have you got a job? If not, I suggest you apply for anything and everything until you do - that way you can prove your serious about staying clean an legal.

Firstly I dont agree with any of that drugs stuff but have a foriengn husband so............
Best thing would be to leave England alone and appeal from your original country. The law is anything that happens with appeals for immigration is not affective in another country. You got a family and a life here so you will most definatly get a visa or whatever but not from England coz you abused us by dealing drugs. So you being in prison here will not effect your appeal from your home country.
I feel sorry for your missus and your kids. Its bad enough with all the prison stuff but now you are gonna be how many miles away?
How will she cope with two babies and no you?
Sort yourself out. Ive got no kids but when my husband was deported and I thought I would lose him it killed me. Thank God he is back with me now. Let me know how it goes

I think you should watch how much you take the answers here to heart. Don't give in to these racist idiots. Sorting out your life in terms of employment has to be top of your list.

Also get a bag packed and make arrangements to disappear if necessary. I have a foreign partner and in the British Home office you are not dealing with a fair or indeed rational entity. The advice I got wasn't just misleading but plain wrong and timewasting.

I'd get in touch with a number of lawyers specialising in immigration cases and get an idea how to fight them through legal channels.

Don't make it easy for them.

Best of luck

The saying is "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime". You chose Class A drugs as your way of life. Now you must accept the consequence, so decide whether you are taking your wife and children with you.

you are having a laugh arnt you pal......people like you make me vomit...what is it that makes you deal drugs...is it because you think you have to because of yas rooots man...see you son and say goodbye to your kids, better still take them with you.

i have a thought and its got nothing to do with race religion etc .

i think all criminals who are convicted of an offence triable on indictment , should be sterilised...this would prevent the spreading of this highly infected criminal seed.

oh and lorne you are just as bad so clear off...its the only system we have and you can bet its better than the one in his country
