If God exists then I'm sure he/she will forgive all sins. War is mentioned in the Bible (if you believe that Stephen King novel too!) so he must have forgiven countries and people in the past! Anyway, not all Americans were for the war, the soldiers out there are just doing a job that they get paid for... its the governments of both Britain and America that could do with the forgiving!

And i think you'll find 300yrs ago the Americas or colonies as they were called then, were British or under the rule of King George III.

That's like saying were the Germans forgiven for the concentration camps, when it was the British that invented them!

This is a ridiculous question. Will God forgive the rest of the world for their transgressions? America has, like all nations, made its mistakes. However, we have also rescued millions from everything from tyranny to natural disasters.
When there is trouble, the world looks to the USA for help, and we are always there for everyone. Sadly, the world has a short memory when it comes to gratitude.
Perhaps you should be asking whether or not God will forgive your sins, rather than the sins of others.

I believe God did forgive us for Vietnam and is forgiving us for Iraq. I also believe God forgave the men that flew those planes that killed so many of our people on 9-11. Just ask your self this would you rather have God forgive us for Iraq or forgive Iraq for what they could be doing to us here in our home land. I do not want to have to care a weapon all the time to feel safe because if Iraq was here they would be killing us not trying to help us as we are trying to help them.

It is not god who forgives only you if you repent all at the time of your passing over for only you can feel sorrow and remorse for what you did in life.

Mind you it does say that you go to hell after dying and remain there till the next coming then you are judged and could end up in hell anyway seems a bit unfair but as they say both guilty and innocent suffer alike

God forgives those who genuinely and heartily repent their mistakes, do their bestto atone their sins and resolve never to sin(s) again. He does not forgive people or nations who go all out killing others at will like mad dogs for thei selfish gains or ego.

The USA government, the armed forces, the US citizens are all collectively and singularly responsible for the various and repeated massacres and manslaughters including the nuke attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and the terrorism perpetrated by its cohort and ally Pakistan in India and other countries all under American tutelage.

The curses are bound to be wide and deep unless the ENTIRE US atones and resolves to NEVER EVER repeat their dastardly criminal acts of violence and mass terrorism against humanity

No, God will not forgive the perpetrators of these repeated willful crimes against humanity- the people of USA.

Every country in the world has committed atrocities, we in the UK invented concentration camps in India, One tribe sold another tribe into slavery in Africa, Mohamed gave a thumbs-up to the execution of Jews (according to the pope), Japan murdered British prisoners of war, the Romans killed and enslaved err..everybody, Germany well that's a famous one, The Australians gave the natives hell, the English invaded Wales.
We re all DOOMED!!!!!!!!

Did America repent for it's sin? No. It is still carrying those cudgels against Iraq, Afghanisthan, Columbia, Cuba.. etc.. Name it, the war has american name written on it. The people of America must choose their leaders wisely.

Well.. what you sow.. so shall you reap.

Tell me how many Americans are really happy today?

Depends on your view point. What America did in Vietnam was for freedom under God (or something like that), same for Iraq (oil). So Americans with that view point will say God will forgive. Al Queida members will say what they are doing is for God, so God will forgive them. Hopefully Karma (ala 'My Name is Earl') will kick both their back-sides.

He does not have to forgive America just those who led the nation into the various situations whilst invoking His name. By the way out of respect and form, even if you are a non believer Vlad, God takes a capital letter
