How would you put god into your explanation?

You should explain that death is a natural part of life, not something we should be frightened of. Assuming you are Christian, you should tell your 6 year old that because God loves him so much, that he won't just die one day when he's old and lived a long, happy life - that after he leaves this world he will go to Heaven, to be with other loved ones who passed away before us, and be with God. You should make it seem natural and pleasant, not scary!

Though the life may be short, the soul does not die and It lives eternally. So just as it has taken this life, it will get another... Duration of life is not main problem, the suffering is ...
In Srimad Bhagvatam, Mother Kunti prays to God, "Oh god, when we are in trouble and pain, we have always remembered you and you have always been with us. And now when the so called “happy days” have come, you are leaving us... If suffering and pain is the price we have to would have to pay to have God always with us, then let torrents of such suffering fall on me so that you are always with us.”
It is said that the state in which we are able to remember God is the safest state. Any other state even if it means becoming the head of the richest country or even Heaven, if it causes forgetfulness of God then it is of no use and simply leads to suffering.
All opulence that one may have in this world is just temporary and will be completely finished in just matter of time. So why should one want such flickering happiness for a small duration? But if one can use this life, what ever state one may be, to remember God, then that is perfection. That will grant one everlasting blissful life in Kingdom of God.
We may not be able to explain, what sin we had committed in past lives, that we are facing this suffering. But we are still fortunate to be able to remember God and chant his name, and hence we have to utilize this moment to make our life prefect.
What is the use of living for thousands of years like a Tree? Its better bargain to get Human life with all the suffering in a small life, if one can get a chance to Remember God and Chant his name and thus return back to Kingdom of God.
It is difficult to explain, but still we should try.. Because there is still hope...I pray that you are able to save the soul..

You have an absolute right to be horrifically angry. You have an absolute right to hate everything around you right now. What you have experienced defies explanation. You are suffering and lashing out understandably. I don't think any answer you receive here, negative or positive, is going to make any difference at this point. This has to do with your own grief, your own pain. I hope that in time it lessens for you. Sorry does not even begin to cover this. But in our limited language it is all there is. So I will say how truly sorry I am that this has occurred, and hope that this pain eases.

A 6 year old does NOT need a explanation he needs LOVE and CLOSENESS at that time. God forgive you if you put a 6 year old through the explanation period!!!!!
God does not create disease, sin is the cause it has destroyed our planet our minds our bodies and our relationship with God and each other.

Sorry if this really happened to you, I thought it was just an example you are giving.
No. I have not tried this before and I am sure it won't be easy. But I would say that 'Allah chose you with this pain because He knows you are strong and you will take it. He loves you so much that He wants you to go to Heaven sooner than all of us and enjoy ... (and state al the things that he/she loves).

Generally, people don't scream in agony when they die. We have better drugs now.
I wouldn't put that god myth garbage into my kid's head. That would be akin to abuse.
