if you are eating at a restaurant, see how he treats the wait staff. you can tell alot about a person by how he treats people in the service industry. if he is a jerk to them, you can bet he is a jerk in real life!!

if he is a jerk with the staff at a restaurant, he's a jerk in real life. Make sure he doesn't talk with his mouth full, inhale his food and get terribly drunk, and if he does any of these things, RUN AWAY. No burping/farting contests either

You can learn a lot about his manners. Does he chew with his mouth open, shovel the food in, talk with food in his mouth.

by the way he is dressed, talks and finger nails. are they trimmed and filed nicely? or are they long? and table manners.
