Is that normal for a regular glazed donut to taste like soap???

I ate the whole donut... it was the aftertaste of it I guess... but it still tastes like soap... it's nasty.

Its definitely not normal.! if my donut tasted like soap there would be some serious complaining going on. hehe.
oooh dont get me started i'm going past a donut shop in about 4 hours - bet I end up going in there now. will get some - eat them and will let you know about the soap - i'm doing it just for you. hehe.

Hi,I was thinking the same has nibbet.I love doughnuts especially with strawbery jam in the middle.I have never had one that tasted like soap & I would not have eaten it.Maybe its your taste buds.

aah you must have picked out the soap flavoured one. well learn from your mistakes and next time pick the donut flavoured one.

Just consider yourself fortunate that someone actually washed their hands when handling that donut, imagine the other possibility & you'll never eat another one. :)
