I understand your question is why Muslims believe Quran is True. Muslims believe Quran is unlike any other book and they find the evidence that it is from God from the Quran itself. Or in other words, Muslims believe it is not possible for any man to create a chapter similar to that in Quran. Quran it self challenges who don't believe in it to produce a chapter similar to it in eloquence. The unmatched eloquence of Quran is admited by even the critics of Quran.

For example I will give below few words of George Sale, a christian missinary and critic, who has studied Arabic and translated Quran to English.

"I will mention but one instance out of several, to show that this book was really admired for the beauty of its composure by those who must be allowed to have been competent judges. A poem of Labîd Ebn Rabîa, one of the greatest wits in Arabia in Mohammed’s time, being fixed up on the gate of the temple of Mecca, an honour allowed to none but the most esteemed performances, none of the other poets durst offer anything of their own in competition with it. But the second chapter of the Korân being fixed up by it soon after, Labîd himself (then an idolater) on reading the first verses only, was struck with admiration, and immediately professed the religion taught thereby, declaring that such words could proceed from an inspired person only.

The style of the Korân is generally beautiful and fluent, especially where it imitates the prophetic manner and scripture phrases. It is concise and often obscure, adorned with bold figures after the eastern taste, enlivened with florid and sententious expressions, and in many places, especially where the majesty and attributes of GOD are described, sublime and magnificent; of which the reader cannot but observe several instances, though he must not imagine the translation comes up to the original, notwithstanding my endeavours to do it justice.

Though it be written in prose, yet the sentences generally conclude in a long continued rhyme, for the sake of which the sense is often interrupted, and unnecessary repetitions too frequently made, which appear still more ridiculous in a translation, where the ornament, such as it is, for whose sake they were made, cannot be perceived. However, the Arabians are so mightily delighted with this jingling, that they employ it in their most elaborate compositions, which they also embellish with frequent passages of, and allusions to, the Korân, so that it is next to impossible to understand them without being well versed in this book.

It is probable the harmony of expression which the Arabians find in the Korân might contribute not a little to make them relish the doctrine therein taught, and give an efficacy to arguments which, had they been nakedly proposed without this rhetorical dress, might not have so easily prevailed. Very extraordinary effects are related of the power of words well chosen and artfully placed, which are no less powerful either to ravish or amaze than music itself; wherefore as much has been ascribed by the best orators to this part of rhetoric as to any other. He must have a very bad ear who is not uncommonly moved with the very cadence of a well-turned sentence; and Mohammed seems not to have been ignorant of the enthusiastic operation of rhetoric on the minds of men; for which reason he has not only employed his utmost skill in these his pretended revelations, to preserve the dignity and sublimity of style, which might seem not unworthy of the majesty of that Being, whom he gave out to be the author of them; and to imitate the prophetic manner of the Old Testament; but he has not neglected even the other arts of oratory; wherein he succeeded so well, and so strangely captivated the minds of his audience, that several of his opponents thought it the effect of witchcraft and enchantment, as he sometimes complains."

We can see that eventhough he claims Quran to be written by Mohammed because of his prejudice he cannot but admire it for its beauty.

As for natural calamities, Muslim believe they can be trails like mentioned in this verse
"And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, " Quran 2:155

Hello

So you want a proof that mohammed existed, and allah exists.

So many proofs can be taken from the Quran. Holy Quran mentioned things 1427 years ago that turned out to be true now. Modern science confirmed what Quran mentioned. I mean by that the Quran mentioned scientific facts mohammed or any other human never knew 1427 years ago.

How could such facts be mentioned in Quran??
Obviously, because it is from Allah (GOD)

I will give you 2 examples ( Quran is full of such facts, but i don't know how to find them in English as I never read an English Quran)

1 - Quran said that an area in Jordan is the lowest in elevation when compared to anny other land in the world. Modern Science confirmed this by saying the area around the dead sea is the lowest in elevation.

2 - More than 1400 years ago, Allah said in Quran that it is hard to breath as people go higher and higher in the sky. Modern science confirmed this by saying Oxygen amounts decrease as you go up.

If Quran is fake, could it mention such things?

I am sorry, i never read a quran in english, otherwise i would have given you more examples along with there exact places in quran.

Good luck

What about all the hurricanes that hit America? Catrina and her sisters? what about forest fires in Europe? What about ... what about ... what about ...

We cannot take things this lightly. We can never know the inention of Allah. He could be punishing them because they are not being good muslims. He could be testing their faith. He could be purifying them from their sins. This is no evidence on anything.

I understand your question and where you are coming from but I do not see what your problem is. Suppose there is no god and Prophet Muhammad is a myth, the Quran is a delusion and I am, as a muslim, brainwashed and misled. What do you care? Thanks for the alert. You choose to take religion lightly; this is your choice. I choose to take religion seriously, this is my choice. I respect your free will to decide whichever course to take in life and respect your decision. Do you respect me back?

By the way, have yo uhear of Michael Heart? He is an American mathematician and astronomer, very well known, and he is not a muslim by the way. He wrote a book about the greatest 100 people in history. The criteria for choosing the people were:
1. That we are sure they existed in history
2. that they has an effect on humanity (not just a region or a country) and the ranking is based on the size of the impact

Do you know who he ranked first?

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)!!!

Dear Jobs dun,

If I'm not wrong, your question is how to prove that Allah and Muhammad exist?

First, I will not refer to Quran verses, which is obviously you don't believe on.

Muhammad:

His tomb is known in Madina until this moment. Muslims visit his tomb frequently since his death, since 1400 years ago.

To know if someone existed or not, you have two ways to make sure:

1)To see him by your eyes: It is impossible because he already dead and all have is his tomb to see.

2)To see his impact or traces or actions that he made: He gave us Quran which is in front of you and you can see it. He also , established a kingdom that spread over most of the parts of the ancient world. A kingdom that was started from poor and persecuted men and women and within few years, crushed the Persian and roman empires. Read the history.

Regarding Allah:

His holy book is in front of you. He promised (In the book) to protect it from altering and until today , no one succeeded to alter Quran since 1400 years.

To know if someone exist as I said in Muhammad (PBUH) case, see his impact around you:

If you have a perfect Ferrari coming out from a trailer, do you say the Ferrari was created by the trailer or you say it was made in the Ferrari plant and put in the trailer. There must be a designer and maker for it!

Atheists are saying that they are created by their mothers and fathers. Which is not logical at all.

See around you, if the whole world was created suddenly in a big bang , then why there is no man lived more than 200 years or someone skipped the death and now is with us.

Why there is a system very accurate and sometimes in predictable patterns? Who put its rules?

What about the rules of physics and nature of things around you? Why the rules are continuing in a very systematic way since then.

Why we don’t see a women deliver a dog or a dog deliver a man?

There must be a creator for.

The answer is : There must be someone who integrated the creatures and these fabulous systems and put their rules.

That is : ALLAH

let's say mohammad(peace be upon him) have not existed. There will always be another one to be sent to correct the mistakes of what the christians did to Jesus(peace be upon him)emulate him to be God? Really, God can make those things, incarnate in a human form, but that would make Him an unwise supreme being. Why? Because if he be the word and become flesh and dwelt among us, why incarnate in a male human body, not a female human body. It's not because women were considered unclean, so much the better if He did, the more miraculous it would be. Then, why in the body of a white race people, not the reds, yellows, brown or blacks? Surely God is not an unjust Being, preferring a certain type of color, "God created man in HIs own image"what, black or white? Really is illogical,.,God is never an author of confusion.

Mohammad existed, it is well documented in history, not just from the Qur'an.
As for Allah, I'll leave that for a Muslim to answer.
