If you're talking about the slave trade...
Why Americans (I'm assuming you mean people from the US) in particular? I'm not excusing the slave trade, but you do have to understand that America was not the only country that participated in the Atlantic slave trade.
South America took some 4.5 million African slaves, the Caribbean took some 4 million. Comparatively, the US took far less: 500,000. Europe took some 400,000 and Central America took some 200,000.
Everybody is guilty of racism, discrimination, etc. It wouldn't be fair to target a specific country.

Your id shows your mentality. Americans fought their civil war over that issue in 1862-5 in which more Americans died than in any other war or conflict, perhaps that was the penalty. Men are not judged by the sins of their fathers, but perhaps as you have no true faith other in yourself and insignificant comments and judgmental statements, will God forgive you?

Sure He does, just like He forgives you for your sins.
This is a dead issue for everyone but you, why is this still painful for you?

Going back to this:
I will not be help responsible for someone elses deeds, and the only way you can be oppressed or suppressed is if you allow it.
