I think it is. It's freaking October and it's still so freaking hot. We're burning over here (Dominican Republic). Ok, the temperatures don't change much but they do and it still feels like summer day number 1.

I'm not an environmentalist and/or a scientist, but keep this in mind. Global warming has been going on since the time man was first put on this planet. The glaciers, way back when, started melting many years ago and we had an ice age. After the ice age was over, next came the melting of the glaciers. So why did that happen way back then and people think it is all global warming now. Doesn't make any sense to me. It hasn't been proven that global warming is anything different than when the glaciers melted thousands of years ago. If you were to watch the one meterologist that is out of Florida, he states the same thing. He is the meterologist that is faily muscular and did all of the forecasting during Hurricane Katrina. Hope this helps.

Don't be fooled by all the alarmists. Yes, global warning is real, but it is a natural occuring event. The Earth goes from cooling to warming and back again. What you see in the media is an attempt to scare you into believing an agenda that funnels money to special interest groups. This groups have even gone to the extreme to rewrite history to prove their point.

Read: State of Fear by Michael Crichton which debates this issue in a well written and exciting novel.
Many other 'experts' and scientists have doubts that a) we are getting significantly warmer, and 2) that human activity has more than a minimal impact on world climate.
We have just emerged from a small ice age.
