Brains are a very good source of protein, however they do contain a lot of fat and almost no dietary fibre. Because of the high fat content zombies tend to spend most of the time on the move (albeit rather slowly) in order to burn off the excess calories. The low dietary fibre content of cerebellum means that zombies are more prone to constipation than you or I and the more health conscious zombies will counteract this by starting each day with a nice big bowl of all bran.
Brains, unfortunately, are also rather addictive - more-so than alcohol or cigarettes - and without a regular intake of brains zombies will suffer adverse side affects. There are cerebellum-patches available, but the ZHS (Zombie Health Service) won't pay for them and very few zombies can afford Bupa.

Brains faggots are tasty and the gravy is full of nutrients, but I'm afraid the zombies will get us just for mentioning them.

Cotton! it's a little known fact that brains are actually made from the fluff produced by people's socks (often found in the tumble dryer when you clean the filter).
That was too easy man!

Not sure, but they also eat flesh, which must have some nutritional benefits. And by the way it's spelt Lector, not Lecter...
