I'm dieing to put the tree and decorations up but I'll wait until December the 1st. So I've got something to look forward to.

I brought a few presents early this year when the sales where on, but i generally like waiting until they have all of he cool new gadgets out. Plus i like the buzz of a Christmas crowds in the shops and the festive markets.

I've started circling some ideas in the Xmas catalogues but, I'll get most of my prezzie ideas when browsing the shops.

I love Christmas (I'm like a big kid, every year)

Have started to empty my freezers in readiness for monster food shop and about to start major cleaning or house and mass throw-out of everything I can get away with! Other than that have done nothing. Will start on 1 december to write lists, accompanied by Christmas CDs (to husband's disgust) and large sherry. Will probably then ignore lists and then flap about at last minute!

You bet I have, we are moving on 23rd Nov, to a larger place as we have now got another foster daughter, so in total we have 6 youngsters to buy for, ranging from 28 down to 12, then there's Mum, each of us & aunts, uncles, cousins (not brothers or sisters so no neices or nephews) & of course friends. The earlier I get going with it the better for me really, but I do try to save a litle bit to do leading up to the day as I like a bit of hustle bustle fun with the last minute wrapping. We will have a house full on xmas day so got my work cut out, but in saying that my partner & kids are wonderful & will help a lot as usual....really looking forward to it again...I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

Yup, made all my Christmas cakes and puddings, covered now in greaseproof paper and foil in air tight tins, every week i skewer them and pour on either brandy, rum or whiskey and will keep on doing so until mid Dec, when i'll ice the cakes. All chutney's, and relishes are made too, to go with the cold cuts and cheeses on Xmas night!!

Yup. I've packed my bags and booked my place on a really remote island even BEFORE the Currys and the Woolworth adds start on T.V. Usually I don't leave until mid October, which is far too late...
