Edit: what about
"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (I Corinthians 11:3)

"For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man." (I Corinthians 11:8-9)

The "Church" has done a lot more than make women inferior in the eyes of society, it has also made other non-male and non-female sexes into an invisable minority... somewhere around the 14th century, the Church went into a frenzy that it wouldn't be able to tell who was homosexual and who wasn't if there were more than two sexes. In the 12th century, the church recognized a third sex. Now, how many people do you know, who are not males, or females, either speaking by chromosome pattern, or physical appearance of genitals (and i'm not talking about homosexuals, i'm talking natural, biology)? well, there are an estimated 1/60 pple so, if there are several billion people, that means there are several million pple who are not "male" or "female". Why aren't people aware of this? Because the Church did a very thoughough job of invalidated an entire group of people, with shame, secrecy, and surgery. Even to this day, babies are being opperated on to make them appear how society pretends bodies ought to look. These people are tucked away under false labels as having "disorders" or "conditions."

Why is there such a large stigma around being anything other than male or female? because the binary sex and binary gender systems would crumble, including dicotomous thinking that there are only men, and women, and that they fit into "opposite" categories.

Also, the hebrew names for God (Biblical names) were not just masculine. Elohim, which means creator, is feminine, as well as plural.

How much has culture, and human institution, raped original ideas of the Bible whether human or other inspired?

God(s) did not create "man" in God's image. Humans created what it meant to be "man" then hogged all the resources and blamed it on God(s) and what it has meant to be a "man" or a "woman" has actually been changing over time, and depending on a person's location.

So, the answer to your question, you are basically asking, does [god] make women inferior? No, humans make other humans into many things, and segregate them with gender labels, and sex labels. ultimately, we are all human (ostensibly) and we do horrible things to one another and believe and teach horrible things in order to preserve a socially constructed pecking order.

You need to know what is created in the image of God, Not the Body, But the soul. Therefore when God took a rib from Adam to make a woman, He also took some flesh with that rib. Therefore EVE soul is made in God's Image & not the flesh.

For one, i do no longer think that we've been all made in God's photograph. God made us from the dirt of the Earth meaning that (technically) our actual bodies have been made in in simple terms like the Earth (this incorporates women human beings). As for God having a counterpart, i'm undecided if God has ever felt romantic love till now, i think that His love is in basic terms platonic/familial. Romantic love comes approximately in sexual beings and because non secular beings are no longer able to breed and thus haven't any sexual desires i do no longer see why they could want to opt for a existence important different wherein they might exhibit romantic emotions for. this would not mean that they do no longer no longer what love is or that they have got a restricted concept of love in simple terms that they haven't any want for "romantic" love. With that pronounced, i'm a hundred% specific that souls (fairly God) knows greater approximately love then any Human that ever lived.

The word man in the Bible usually refers to mankind. Woman was His last creation, so would He make something superior and then inferior? No. Incidentally, He took a rib from man to make a woman, taking the woman out of the man which shows that man is man and woman is woman; no one is born homosexually. If people would read the Bible instead of listening to hearsay, it would end a lot of questions.......and then what would yahoo answers run on??!!

God created man in his image and woman out of one of man's ribs. This doesn't make woman inferior but rather submissive to men in her circle. Naturally, traditionally and in most if not all religions and beliefs, women are to submit to their husbands, it doesn't say that women should feel inferior and men should respect and love the women in return

Not in the least.
This is a metaphor that refers to DNA-propagation.

Every being that lives on or in or in the vicinity of Earth was literally conceived 'inside' the DNA of its parents.

The reason it comes up is that the Torah is an edited survival of the Sumerian record, in which Enki (Lord of Earth) was tasked with the creation of a worker, and his means was cross-breeding Annunaki DNA with local Rampithecus DNA.

No... good question, I think that little statement was augmented by the chruch to imply that woman are secoundary in the eyes of god. But I disagree, woman are just as ferior as man and in some cases more capable than men... but its all realative.

God carved woman out of a rib. He lovingly, carefully created the perfect form.

I believe in his image did not refer to gender or physical being, in his image I believe means the potential to be a reflection of glory of the almighty one.... Man or Woman.
