I don't know if it actually cures the motion sickness. Ginger is used to treat nausea. It calms and settles the digestive tract.
Ginger is an excellent natural anti-inflammatory. Yes, t definitely works.
You can take capsules, tincture, real ginger ale(not Canada dry stuff you buy at a natural food store, juice it fresh, crystallized like candy, make tea from the fresh root, or in lollipop form.

Yes - for about 97% of the population Ginger can help relieve Nausea and is a great natural relief - However if you are luky like me you can suffer from Ginger reflux, Which basically means, if I take ginger it will make me sick quicker then if I do nothing. If you like Ginger bear or biscuits or ginger ale - chances are you do not have this and you should be fine!

Actually it does. My son had motion sickness badly and he would chew a piece of ginger just prior to a trip and he was fine. I dont know why but it works.

In general, while most antinausea drugs influence the brain and the inner ear, ginger appears to act directly on the stomach

Ginger is the classic tonic for the digestive tract. a traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2,500 years. it is known to stimulate digestion and keep the intestinal muscles toned. It is inconclusive as to how ginger acts to combat nausea but it is believed that volatile oils, gingerol and shogaol are the components to be the anti-nausea and anti-vomiting agents.

It doesn't actually cure the motion sickness. It just stabilized the stomach acids and calms the peristalsis of the digestive tract so that you don't feel the urge to vomit anymore.

I have used it on boats, planes, trains, and cars and it works. Ginger helps calm the stomach and other parts of the digestive tract. It helps balance the systems, so to speak.
