The Military Council of the United Kingdom believes that a British presense in Iraq is worsenning domestic security. The Pentagon says the same thing about the US's involvement in Iraq so it's not a far-fetched notion. I would imagine the sooner forces can withdraw from Iraq the better.

So you want the UK to surrender do you?
The US and the UK have created the instability in the country... Saddam was a tyrant, but at least he ruled with an iron fist, to the detriment of the Kurds, I know.
If you can't defeat the Iraqi's and Afghans insurgents with their limited resources, then seriously you don't stand a chance against North Korea with all of their resources and sheer volume of troops....
You don't like the troops being there?... here's 10p, go call Mr Blair and tell him... but frankly, he doesn't give a damn!

Yes. As he pointed out our presense is not leading to an increase in security in the country but a decrease. We are stiring up more problems than we are solving. It's time to tidy up a few loose ends and let the Iraqi people regain their self determination, even if that means there will be sectarian fighting. It is their problem to sort out.

I think withdrawal from Iraq in the immediate future is a good idea - they should be transferred to Afghanistan to make sure that the job is finished there.

The trouble is that if we pull out now, the death toll would rise 10-fold, and we would leave a central headquarters for any number of muslim terrorist groups.
