Well, first off it sounds like you did the right thing by protecting both yourself and your girlfriend by using a condom.
I doubt seriously that you have HIV but thank GOD you were both smart enough and brave enough to get yourself tested. You would not believe the number of people who just get too scared to get themselves tested.
From the sound of it, you may have had a minor urinary tract infection. If this was your first time having sex or your first time using a condom or even your first time using that particular brand of condom you may be experiencing a mild allergic reaction to either the latex or the lubricant.
When your HIV test comes back negitive talk to your doctor about the symptoms and ask his opinion. He will be better able to advise you.
As for your most recent discomfort, I don't seriously believe that it is in any way related, though there is some allegorical evidence that women can be a pain in the neck. (giggles).

HIV usually enters the body silently, with no outside signs for a while. You may have contracted a different STI or STD.
Next time you should wait until you are in a commited relationship in which you trust the other person, and you both have been tested....like maybe marriage.

No you idiot. You dont' hiv so fast. Atleast it doesn't affect you physically so easily and quickly. It's slow and deadly. It destroys ur defence mechanisms, your immune system.
You're fine. Maybe you have another std of some sort. Hopefull less dangerous. Good thing you saw the doctor. You been smart. Now be patient.

You probably have herpes, it can make you have swollen glands and other symptoms like abdominal cramping and leg aches when there is a bout coming on. You can only test for it if you have an open leison to culture, so if you didn't have one at the time of testing it will come back negative.

Steve, it is HIGHLY unlikely that it is HIV. Symptoms do not usually show up like that and it is not sudden soreness in the neck. You have been careful, it is likely something unrelated. Good luck.

I really don't think that it could be HIV, I think it takes much longer than 2 weeks to develop, I'm sure you'll be relieved when you get your test back

It sounds more like a STD as I understand until the latter stages of aids you aren't even aware you have an illness...hope you learn from this and practice safe sex in future...sex is good but not worth dying for.

Sounds to me like you are too immature to be having sex. If you don't know the difference between HIV and STD (sexually transmitted disease) than you need to educate yourself on the precautions first.
