If your answer is yes, then who or what designed him?

If your answer is no, and you believe that something as amazingly intelligent and powerful as a god can just exist without being intelligently designed, then something infinitely inferior to a god (e.g. a mere human being) certainly wouldn't need to be intelligently designed either... Would it?

fireball2...: OK, so if you believe a god could exist without having a creator, why can't you believe that humans could exist without having a creator?

Yes, I did.

See, what actually happened was I created a time machine 30 years from now, and sent a robot back in time to the beginning of the universe, and that robot used nanotechnology to create God, then the robot self destructed itself. Then God created the universe.

You may say there's no evidence to support my theory, but look around you, everything you see is evidence that what I say is true.

HA.

How can this query possibly perplex the mind of a sentient member of the rodent family? Your existence alone brings unfathomable possibilities to mind...just kidding...

...but think about this...when you have an idea, where does it come from before you think about it? And if that answer would be intelligent design, who designed it before you conceived it as an idea? It is a spiral of doubt and revelation is it not?

Let me predict the theists' answer: God is and always was (or something along those lines with reference to the impenetrable tosh about the 'word' and 'light' in 1 John in the Bible). Oh, that and a bit of closed-minded, humour-free, charisma bypass preaching about either how you'll burn in Hell or how everyone hopes you'll "come to the Lord" as you don't want to be left behind when the raptors arrive (or something). Ho hum!
