Science relies on objective evidence and reasoned argument, which is the only valid route to truth. Religion is just mythology.

Science is a religion too.
It masquerades as a passionless, cold, objective thing, but to see the truth read the book by the discoverers of the DNA molecule (Crick and somebody), their search was passionate, driven, deceptive, money-grubbing.
I happen to believe in Lamarkian Evolution as a kind of magic used by animals, but my point is that your question demonstrates a certain gullibility concerning science itself on your part. The first principle of science is to question all authority and throw away everything that 'everyone knows'. Have you done that?

I believe in both. Evolution explains that everything evolved from something lower, but there are too many unexplained variables in the theory (like why choose this shape over that and how humans actually came about). I believe that evolution got a boost and guidance from God.

Science is best.
Christianity has fundies who behave as if science is incorrect. Some other religions are more rational and less superstitious.
I am beginning to think that Judaism is an excellent religion that encourages learning, rational thought and an ethical life-style. Christianity seems to thrive on ignorance.
Still -- science is best.

Well, I'm not religious, nor am I a scientist, but scientist did say that the bumble bee should not be able to fly because its body is not designed to do so. Yet, it does fly. go figure

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd.
