This is what I've done.
1. Changed my eating habits lost 70 lbs. (3 years ago and keeping it off)
2. Changed my responsiblities at work, have more free time with the family.
3. Read more, I'm not as easily fooled by medias.
4. Tell my wife and son I love them everday, love feeds the soul.
5. Trying to find spiriutality outside any organized religion.

Hi Miel, part of the balance in life is realizing that there will be days where things will definitely get thrown off-balance. For example if you have to meet a deadline there may not be time to exercise or eat as well as you like. Just remember that the next day is around the corner and that you can re-establish that balance when it is possible. Good luck :)

To make sure, you have to make time for it...make it a priority.
"Me" time is probably the most important. You can put that and exercise together. I do this on my walks to and from work, I get the exercise from the walk, as well as time to think from it.
If you can't find time to exercise or eat well, at least take an hour a day for you.

by making sure things get their due... always... that's how i balance work, school, time with family and friends, and my significant other :) planning can help guide you but never panic... step back from time to time to just breathe and re-evaluate things to make sure you're not leaving anything out... if there is, try to make up for it... just remember that there are people out there to help you too :)
