That's one of those contradictions in logic. The all knowing god made man then gave him free will but I guess god didn't know what man would do with this free will, then he must not be all knowing. Think about it, he made everything down to the last detail and he knows everything so then wouldn't he know exactly what is going to happen, then I suppose he made some people just to go to hell. That's justice. If I am a child in the eyes of god then I am one that can't see his light. so he will send me to hell. It's like the inconsiderate sob that kicks a dog that doesn't know any better. Would you say that is just? And you're gay so your actions are an abomination in the eyes of the lord. But wait are you a female. Does the bible say anything about female homosexuality. Maybe your off the hook. Isn't the bible nuts. Just do what ever you feel like as long as it doesn't harm anyone. I personally don't care. I do believe that we don't have any choices you can only do what you will do under the influences and circumstances. you will only change as the circumstances do.
and also you are part of the circumstances but you can act only as you will chemically. So you and the "circumstances" act on each other but you are still bound by chemical and physical laws and you will act in accordance with them.

Well you asked about their etherial creator...were you happy with their etherial answers? They are forced to say that being gay is a choice, otherwise God must have made you gay...y'see? I loved that callous example of the 'suicide' choice. If a human being is brought down to the level of feeling that there is no better choice than taking one's own life...to use that as a glib example, "Tsk, tsk, he/she'll be sorry on that great and holy day!" ...that's ludicrous. Saying that it's something like a school test... but it is already known.... now see that is typical compartmentalized thinking. We can only take solace in the fact that it is not real, logical or rational, no matter how much they try to tell you that it is.....they have to....they don't want to be dead dead when they die.

I think you understand very well, be you be cool and if being gay is you than so be it, I care about survival with benefits like anyone else, god wants us to be us so we can do his bidding. I'm straight so does that assure me that I will not have children or grandchildren that will be gay? No so what ever the F'in plan is I have no control of it and take no blame for it, that's Gods job
I'm not a christian but believe everyone should be able to live in peace

Suicide is the exception to the rule, we have no right to kill any body ( including our own ) and this sin brings you continually back to earth to "redo" it.
Now on the gay note. I am a Christian & an avid bible reader. I had to ask everyone where it said anything about homosexuality~ it's in Leviticus somewhere"Thou shalt not lie down with mankind, likewise with woman." When I read that I instantly thought that it was a man made addition. I can not prove that, but I trust my gut. & if you think about it, IF being gay is a sin, it is no more a sin than stealing or working on Sunday. It's not even one of the "so called" 10 commandments. And of all the verses in the bible could it be any less obvious what He meant?
But anyways, if God DOESN"T want you to be gay, I think you are right. He designed our human nature ~ the glory and sin of all of us. So I believe He comprehends more than we ever could. Trust in your gut. That is God telling you what's up, Faith my sister, faith.

Good question but I feel that you missed the boat. I am not, nor have I ever had any thoughts of being gay so it's hard for me feel your pain ? In my life it has always been '' Go to the cross ''. In essence, seek divine wisdom. Talk to GOD. I don't feel he made you Gay. I think you have a choice. You just need to fight the urges. I am happily married for 13 yrs with 4 kids. Do you think that I have never met another woman that tempted me ? If GOD had mapped out my life then I guess it's safe to say that I should have acted on urges and sleep with another women because she was willing ? How about priests or other men of GOD who live lives of celibacy ? I have to imagine that they have thoughts and urges but have never acted upon them. Suicide ? Now there you are stretching it. If a person feels that way they ABSOLUTELY need to lay all out for GOD to help and heal. He will help you if you give him a chance. He created you, not to have you take you own life but live in his light.

God has made his position on homosexuality more than clear. He does not "make" anyone gay...

In the March 1993 edition of the Archives of General Psychiatry (AGP), Drs. William Byne and Bruce Parsons examined past and current claims and concluded that "there is no evidence at present to substantiate a biologic theory. The appeal of current biologic explanations for sexual orientation may derive more from dissatisfaction with the present status of psychosocial explanations than from a substantiating body of experimental data."

God does have a life of happiness and prosperity mapped out for every one of us. However, He has also given us the free will to disobey Him. That is not to say that homosexuals cannot enjoy a life of happiness but God does not set limits to deny us happiness and He does not hate gays. (contrary to popular belief) The fact still remains though that a homosexual lifestyle can be very complicated and at times painful for those involved. I believe this is exactly why God has commanded that we abstain from such lifestyles as those filled with lust (whether for those of the same sex or opposite) greed, chemical dependency, etc. for they all fill our lives with unnecessary complications and heartaches.

Be Blessed and Blessed Be

Yes we are created in his image- meaning His literal image 2 hands, face, head, legs,etc... The fact that you are gay is from your own choice. He didn't make you that way. You control the way that you think not God. Yes its a sin because we are created to marry the opposite gender in order to fulfil His purposes. God has never made anyone do anything. If someone commits suicide it is to their own demise. So remember that yes God does have a plan or purpose for us individually but we still make the choice if we are going to or not.

God has not mapped out your life. God has put us on this earth with choices. Satan has expanded those choices, yet we are all still free to choose what we like. If you treat others with respect, do not abuse alcohol, drugs, do not sleep around, and do not judge others then you are a good person and that is what God wants.

Hi, SuicideBlonde

This is a great question! Thank you for asking what most of us are thinking.

The devil comes to Kill steal and destroy But God gave us life to subdue suicide and every other work of the devil!
God's plan is for us to be like him by our own choice. The plan of God is not to put sin in us but when we are lead away it is because of our own desires we are tempted to make choices that displease God a.k.a. sin. Grace gives us time to get to conform to the true image of God his son Jesus through the renewing of our mind a.k.a our thought patterns. Knowing it is a sin to be the way you are is part of the Joy of Going the right way. Now that you know what is a sin, accept God's grace and study his words in the Bible but reading is nothing with out praying when you pray my God will hear you from heaven and help you not to sin the sins you know are a sin against him.
The devil comes to Kill steal and destroy But God gave us life to subdue suicide and every other work of the devil!

You can do all things through christ!
You have my prayers Beloved!

I am a Muslim but please let me share this with you. I do not mean to condemn, label or judge anyone. On the contrary, I work in an international organisation and have a lot of gay colleagues and friends.

However, out of my humble readings, research tends to believe that being gay is not something you are born with. There are several factors that result in this like early childhood experience, social environment, personality traits, peer effect, etc.

Allah has not decided this for you, though He knows you will choose it for yourself. And no matter what, deep in your heart, you must be sure that Alah loves you.

Have a look at this website and think it over. Whatever your choice is, I respect you as a human being.
