might admire her beauty but for me true beauty comes from within. a person may have the most beautiful physical form ever created but be extremely self centered and void of love for GOD and other people. while another may not have such a physical beauty but may have a love for GOD and a caring for others which makes her plainer looks more beautiful than the other person. to me the inner beauty is more important than the outward.

I do not know about overseeing any ones faith but yes I would say we are entirely hung up on looks. We women claim we want to be loved and respected for who we are not what we look like or what we show. But then look around. We perpetuate the myth and degrade ourselves. The fashion industry seems bent on eventually having us all naked.

Heh. Ask my ex-fiance. Though he wanted me to convert to Christianity, which was apparently a very deep and personal thing for him, it must have been fine that I wasn't one.
Or, for that matter, all the other girls he was sleeping with at the time...

You are right; we are becoming too superficial in our judgement. We give weight to looks and appearances more than we do to souls and personalities, not only religion. The media plays a major role in this in outlining and defining what beauty is and we crave to embody that model.
However, Allah only cares about our hearts and our deeds.

it quite is because of the fact the media and society as an entire positioned a super shallow emphasis on "appropriate elegance" and appearances. a undeniable look is well-known over others and recognized "perfect" and "astonishing" (yet what's quite that perfect a pair of bunch of hair products and makeup?) whilst actual, imperfections and uniqueness are what makes human beings perfect interior the 1st place.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
This is not to say it doesn't happen, but it shouldn't happen.

this does happen, after all, are we not a species of beauty...no matter how we wish to see it.................
do we not enjoy a rose for its own sake of beauty and not ask of its religion.
Our attractions, are not in what others may think, but what we think of ourself............
find our space and nobody can throw us off..................
