To everyone: I am a Christian and I want to apologize on the behalf of those who claim Christianity and give us a bad name. A true Christian loves atheists, Muslams, Jews, and the whole lot. We are not suppossed to judge others but we have flesh like evryone else and we struggle, too. Jesus said the first among us without sin may he cast the first stone. Please forgive me if I have judged you. You are in my prayers. Please pray for me, too. Scripture says the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments. I try to do both. Have a blessed day!!

I concur whole-heartedly! Thank you for putting this out there. It is so important to express to others the true fundamentals of the Christian faith, as well as all others. There are so many who poison their religion with their witness. Living their lives in judgment and hate in the name of their god and leading countless others astray.

Be Blessed and Blessed Be

Thanks. At last....a genuine christian. I do not consider myself a christian but I think Jesus set an example for us all to follow. He believed we should do as he does not as he says.
.
Tolerance and love for our fellow human beings is not always a natural occurring feeling within ourselves. But that is the challenge that Jesus himself faced as well. So I believe we are in good company.
.
Nobody and I mean nobody ever said that being good and loving even those who hate you would be easy. Just that it can be done...That it can be achieved and that is when we find true inner peace.
.
Thank you again for your words of peace.

Unless you have done something and feel guilty about it, I see no reason for you to apologize for the whole. I've not done anything, so please do not apologize for me. I think you may be a little too deep in your spirituallity. While that's admirable, it seems to be bringing you down to the point to where you feel you have to take responsibility for the entire world. You don't! It's not your fault there are dirtbags in the world in all religions. No pun intended, but that's too heavy of a cross to bear.

And yet, you subscribe to a religion that has as it's end goal, the destruction of the world and the eternal suffering for anyone who does not stroke the insecurity and vanity of your god by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner. Me thinks you owe more than an apology for this vindictive twisted made-up god.

I agree with you except for you apologizing for others. We are not responsible for other peoples actions. The best thing we can do is pray for them and witness to them. I think your faith is awesome and courageous. Stay strong and lets all praise Jesus.

I am an atheist, and while that kind of rules out my praying for you I appreciate your sentiment and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being one of the few people on here that makes sense. ;o)

Have a good day, sweetie.

agree it is a shame that everyone can't respect other belief systems. there are many paths and ways one can arrive at their destination. none is better than the other. GOD is to big to be in only one place. as you so aptly put it we need to take care of the log in our own eye before worrying about the splinter in our neighbors. will pray for you and thanks for praying for me. Peace, health and harmony to all

Spiritual people make the same mistakes as everyone else.
The difference is, they own up to them. And make them right.
Thank you for showing the true spirit of Christ.
