I have not heard anything about LE SOLEIL, unfortunately my job does not bring me into contact with training yards very often.
Looking at the horse on paper he seems an interesting contender - German bred horses love the soft ground and he seems well handicapped. Probably worth a punt, but too short a price for me.
I'll be keeping half an eye on ELOPEMENT, looks to be interesting after a long lay off.
Make sure you watch the first at Newmarket this afternoon (1.30pm), some very interesting newcomers making their debut, including the sale topper at Keeneland September last year - JALIL. Sheikh Mohammed paid $9.7million for him, lets hope he's worth it!
