Farce of course. They'll say something like it was god's plan and god empowered noah or some bs like that. if they just stopped making excuses and look at themselves and their beliefs for just a moment they would see why some see them as insane. Doesn't making an excuse for every crazy story in the bible get tiring?

Oh dear, we always forget that all the religions are based on blind faith.
So if we have a blind faith that we can gather a pair each of male and female birds/animals/insect etc today, then it is the blind faith only and not the reality.

People were smaller 80 years ago so they must have been really small back then. Have you ever tried on an antique hat or their shoes? They were little people! Seriously , I am not sure how Noah did it, I just have faith that it did.

When we talk about miracle, it is always beyond our intelligence. When Allah the Almighty asked him to do that, that means it could have done. that's it.
Noah (may peace be upon him) was a messenger of Allah the Almighty. When he was asked to do that he did not ask 'O Allah how can I do that or how it is possible'
That is the difference in belief.
Allah the Almighty knows better.

The flood was probably not Global, Noah most likely wasn't able to get ALL species, and was probably just like the rest of the bible...just a story.
