Put the light switch a bit higher up. Alternatively, you can lay a booby-trap that goes off if anyone tries to reach for the light switch. E.g., like a ghastly scream or a monster jumping up. He won't touch a light switch for the rest of his life.

ask for a lock to go on your bedroom door, if your parents are worried about what you are doing when you are in your room ask them to fit a lock with 2 sets of keys then you and your parents can both have one that is accessible from the inside or out. hope this helps good luck.

Thats nothing! wait till they get to being a teenager - thats when the real trouble starts.
Best thing to do is ignore him. Just pretend he's not done it. He will get bored after doing it a few more times. I bet if you ignore him today and tomorrow when he does it - he wont bother again by sunday.!

Cover the light switch in something rank like marmite.
Then beat him up a bit for good measure.

Get a lock for your door or tie your brother to a chair downstairs and gag him.

get your parents to put a lock on the inside for you to stop him opening your door, a small bolt would be sufficient to stop the pesky beggar

door lock seems like a good idea.
little siblings like attention and by getting angry with him , he wins. try to ignore him completely when he is acting up and be nice at other times. when he feels like you are treating him kind he will want to stay in your good books . gotta love him.
