I have seen how some christians bash muslims coz Muhammad took part in war, etc. Meaning that he was an imposter.
(apoligies to muslims)
Now in the gospel, Luke 19, can't remember the exact verse, Jesus say that they basically should bring the unbeliever before him and slay the unbeliever.
What does this say about Jesus?

You are taking this literally and yet it's another of Jesus' parables.
I have re read this chapter so that i may give you a concrete response. In this parable he is teaching his followers about the work required of them. Those who believe that there's no other way to the Almighty Father except through Jesus, coz he is the way, the truth and life.He is implying that each of his followers has been entrusted with a role to play as a witnesss unto the coming kingdom of God and we have to put it to best use and shall receive rewards accordingly. So when he says kill those who refused me to be King over them, he will surely do that on judgement day coz he is surely the judge above all. Hope you understand and God bless

LUke 19 verses 11-27. YOu have selectively taken one verse and twisted it to suit your own ends. Jesus was telling a parable, that for which he was renowned. Parables are earthly stories with a heavenly meaning. Nowhere is Jesus calling on anybody to be physically killed. He was talking about an allegorical sense of perishing. He was in fact saying that if you put in effort and worked hard (financially or otherwise) then you would be rewarded as PER YOUR EFFORT. if you put in no effort, what you have will be taken away to, up to your very life (this does not mean your earthly life in the very sense of the word!) Another way of looking at it is that you ought to use your talents and skills that you have, or it will be removed from you! If someone is a good football player and they do nothing about it, soon age will catch up with them and they'll never have a chance to use it and profit from it!
If you knew the story of Jesus, which, by the sounds of things it doesnt seem to be the case, you'd know that throughout Jesus' life he was against physical "slaying". When one of his disciples attacked a man with a sword and cut off his ear, he healed the man and said to his disciple that "we need to turn the other cheek". I suggest you do something better with your time than come on here and pervert the word of God. I have had muslim friends my entire life, and i never sit around and do what you're trying to do here, i have my opinions, but i dont speak truths for the sake of bringing down others, i speak truths with good intentions. Maybe you should try that by going to Church instead of coming on here if you really wanted to know about Jesus?

Jesus Christ is unassailable. You cannot find fault with Him or what He did. You may not like it, You may not want to follow Him, but you will not find Him lacking in character, goodness, wisdom, or love.

He never instructed His followers to kill anybody. He said He didn't come to condemn the world but to save it.

The Jewish law has instructions for many types of capital punishments, generally tougher than our laws today, but along the same lines.

The problem Christians have with Muslims is that their god, Allah, tells them to kill those who don't believe. Helloooo, haven't you ever heard of the Golden Rule or turning the other cheek? Don't you know Jesus was the originator of those instructions?

Christians fight unbelief in many ways and we are not against standard warfare, but Islamic terrorism is not standard warfare.

My apologies to those who have been offended by those who claim Muhammad was an imposter. These comments are made by those who have not bothered to read the scripture, and the history.

Please do not sink to their level by trying to pass off something that is misrepresented in the Bible. The scripture you refer to is the last line of a parable about a man of noble birth. This parable was actually about an actual historical event, and an actual person whom his adversaries would have recognized. Jesus never states that what the man in the story does is righteous behavior. Even to an uneducated reader it is merely a story and not an actual event and is an exaggerated response of man, for the purpose of illustrating a point. No one was brought b4 Jesus, and He never made any point in the story that, that is what the story was about.

Please forgive stupid christians who are being stirred up by the merchants who have stolen our country and beat a drum of nationalistic, and patriotic rhetoric that causes stupid christians who have failed to practice the scriptures that are given to practice accountability for the flock as well as for the leadership which has made the church weak and run by merchants who have spread lies and taught their aggressive desired behavior to what would normaly be a community who would be patient and forgiving

If you wish to be critcal of christians say to them Why do you allow yourselves to be led by selfish merchants and why do you allow them to run your churches and your lives. Why have these aggressive leaders been allowed to perpitrate attrocities on Lovers of your God the God of Abraham. Why have you not practiced your own scriptures and held these people accountable (Mat> 18 and the letters to TIM.) Why have you not excommunicated Bush. Why do you allow yourselves to be represented by a man who lies to you and says he is a christian. Why do you not read your own scriptures and let leaders lie to you and then act on their lies. Jesus said turn the other cheek so why do you drop atomic garbage on our children. Assume christians are in fact mislead people with good hearts who do not hold their leaders accountable because thay have had a long standing leadership that has not taught them the scriptures of accountability.

That is the criticism that will be heard by those who are not stupid and they will support your critic and say to the stupid ones "you know they have a point"

Luke 19 says absolutely nothing of the sort. Absolutely nothing like that at all. Just to be sure, I just re-read it.

But there's just nothing there like what you describe. See for yourself.

You might actually want to read a verse you're going to ask for comments on, next time you ask a verse related question. I can't answer this one properly, because, well... you've asked about a verse that just isn't there.

You need to cite the verse you have in question. Too much information in Luke 19 to even begin to answer your question.

It says:
Ro 3:4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.
You, muhammad, and allah, aka satan, all liars. Always trying to twist the Truth and take it out of context.

It has nothing to do with unbelievers being slain. First off, it is a parable... a *hypothetical story* used to teach. On top of that, it is also a prophecy.

Luke 19:12-27

A certain rich nobleman (note that Jesus said "a certain"... that ALWAYS is used to start off a parable revolving around people) went to get himself a kingdom. He gave each of his servants ten pounds of money, and told them to rule in his absence, but the people of the kingdom didn't want the nobleman ruling. When he came back, he wanted to know how much money they made in his absence. The first servant said he made as much as he was given, and so he was given 10 cities to rule. The second said he made only five pounds, and so was given 5 cities to rule. The third said "I was afraid, because I know you reap from where you didn't sow, and so I hid the money away in a napkin". The rich man said, "The *least* you could have done is put it in the bank, so I could earn interest off it. For your negligence, the money you had will be taken from you, and given to the one who made as much as was given to him. So I say, those who have will be given more, those who do not, it will be taken away from them. And for my enemies (that is, those who do not have salvation... next phrase upcoming is a prophecy), bring them here and slay them before me.

Note... in verse 41, the prophecy of "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." is made a little clearer... When Jesus stood before Jerusalem (His enemies... revealed in following chapters by the Pharisee's hatred of him), He cried over it. Why? Because of His other prophecy but 3 verses later... "And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation". His enemies, just like the coward of a servant in the parable, would be slain in His presence. 40 years after the Resurrection, in the presence of Jesus in His glorified form, and within the hearts of the newly formed Church, Jerusalem would be utterly destroyed by the Romans... those who had power, but were too cowardly to use it, had what little was given to them taken away, and it was given to those who had much.
