The reason HIV is soo hard to cure is that it's a virus that attacks our immune system directly, binding to certain receptors on white blood cells. Most viruses, like the cold and HIV, are almost impossible to cure completely. Viruses keep changing, and evolve, becoming immune to medication. However, scientists are trying to treat the virus. They have discovered what receptors the virus binds to, and how it reproduces.

The HIV integrates its genome with the DNA of white blood cells, where it lies dormant, sometimes for years, avoiding detection by the immune system.
At some point the body will inadvertly give the signal to the infected white blood cell to produce copies of the HIV virus from the viruses DNA via the transcription process. Eventually the cell is destroyed after the replication process is complete and by this time several copies of the HIV virus could have been replicated.
It is not possible to rid the body of HIV during without killing the white blood cells ourselves, normal ones included. You damned if you do, you damned if you don't!!!

HIV virus directly attacks the immune system of our body i.e white blood cells which are known as soldiers of our body and also it keeps changing its shape and characteristics
which makes the medicines uneffective
thus we say it is uncurable
but one day will come in which it will be curable
i am very happy to know that the people are taking care of HIV virus
thanks

First of all HIV virus structure is not clearly found, they described a structure that is triple encapsulatd that makes the virus protect from human immune system.

Actually, I believe, there is little treatment for any virus. Antibiotics only work on bacterial infections. Even the super expensive meds just manage outbreaks on virus and there are a lot of virus besides HIV. The flu is a virus, and there is no real treatment if you get it.

The uniqueness in HIV virus is that it infects the immune system and as defense the immune system tries to destroy the HIV virus. The problem is the inability of the infected immune system to differentiate the invaders from itself and it s attacking the part of immune system itself. In short the immune system becomes worst than ineffective as it is destroying itself as well. You see, the result is very big chaos as the immune system gets confused who is with the system and who is the enemy to be destroyed. So the immune system is compromised and this brings difficulty in treatment as the HIV "mingles" with the system to "get confused in its function" which does self destruction instead of defense.♥

HIV virus direclty attacks our body's immune system. Therefore, no medicine works on the virus as our body's immune system gets weak.

HIV Virus damages ur immune system, so even if the person suffers from mild fever or any disease it proves fatal.

HIV is very clever (LOL), it can mutate or change frequently and develop resistance to drugs , making it difficult to treat.
