hmm to make it tasty pls do so:
Pour the bottle of wine into a pitcher. Reserving one of the oranges, juice the other three oranges and all of the limes into the pitcher. Stir the sugar into the wine/juice mixture until dissolved.
Peel the other orange and remove the pith. Core the pear. You can peel the pear if you want, though it's not necessary. Slice the orange and the pear into small, roughly 1/2 inch chunks. Put them into a large ziploc bag.
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg to the pear and orange chunks in the bag. Shake lightly to coat the fruit with the spices. Empty the contents of the bag into the pitcher (watch for splashes!). Stir.
Put the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least four hours, and up to overnight, to let the flavors marry and let the fruit become saturated with the liquid.
Taste and stir in more sugar if you feel you need to. Serve over ice
:) happy tasting!

Ingredients:
1 Litre of red wine
2 oranges (juice - "naranjas de zumo")
4 peaches, cut into small pieces
5 desert spoons sugar
2 pieces of lemon skin
Steps:
1: Choose a red wine - Sangria is a refreshing drink and you don't need to use a vintage wine. We recommend a reasonably priced wine from Jumilla, Alicante or Valencia..... Put the wine into a jug, add the sugar, and stir until it is properly dissolved.
2: Squeeze the two oranges, and add the juice to the jug. Save a slice of orange skin to decorate.
3: Wash the peaches, peel them and cut them into small quarters (e.g. six per peach). Add them to the jug. If it is not Summer, you can use any other in-season fruit.
4: Put the jug into the fridge. SangrÃa should always be served chilled. If you want to reduce the alchohol concentration, add icecubes and slices of lemon. If you want to increase the alcohol concentration, add a small amount of cognac or rum.
that a great one or

1 bottle of chilled medium to good quality red wine
½ cup of sugar (may vary depending on sweet tooth ! )
1 can of an orange fizzy drink
1 can of a lemon fizzy drink
3 pieces of different fruits ( cut in wedges or chunks-it is not necessary to peel them)
1 tray of ice cubes.
Pour the bottle of red wine into a ceramic pitcher and stir in the sugar with the wooden spoon. Then add the ingredients in the order they are listed and stir again. The pieces of fruit are delicious for dessert, too.

White Sangria Recipe
1 bottle of Cava or Champagne ( very cold)
1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice ( it also works well with cranberry juice).
2 oranges in wedges
2 apples in chunks
1 cup of water
½ cup of sugar
6 not too long cinnamon sticks
crushed ice
mint leaves
Heat the water, sugar and cinnamon sticks and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Let this cool off and then remove sticks. Chill overnight along with the Cava or Champagne. Mix all together and serve over crushed ice to liven up the taste buds! After pouring each one this refreshing party punch, decorate with a mint leave to put a touch of class to your sangria recipe.

red wine (1 liter)
~~1/3- cup each of brandy and ~anorange liquer.
sparkling water or a lemon/orange soda
orange slices, lemon slices and any other fruit you wish to add.
If you use the sparkling water instead of the fruit flavored soda, you may want to add some sugar.
Some people add a little orange juice to theirs also.
Let the mixture sit for a while. Add ice and serve.
There are so many recipes, it's a matter of taste. This is a typical one here.
Good luck.

I can assure you it's not the wine. I think you can actually use any wine at all and it'll be okay, cheaper is better I say.
The key is the juice, you need to make sure you get decent juice. I prefer pulpy juice, but that's just me. Also, if you add a lot of crushed ice and various fruit it'll taste better.
Punch is better though, IMHO.
