I think if the person has clearly stated previously to their illness or accident that they do not wish to be kept on life support, their wishes should be honored. Otherwise, I think all reasonable medical actions should be taken. In cases where the family has to decide, may God guide them and comfort them. I do not favor euthanasia as a policy, but I do support an individual's right to choose to die rather than suffer without hope of recovery.

I'm against it in principle but I do have reservations. I tend to believe that life's hardships should be faced to the bitter end because they happen for a purpose but I would accept the right of someone with constant pain and a terminal illness to end their life.

all for it if somebody has a disease such as motor neurons or something similar. No point anyone going through 2 years of pain waiting to die.

I'm an advocate of the right to die with dignity. However, the choice must be carefully considered by a mentally competent patient and if not him/her, then by those close to the patient who can represent them.

I am for it if it means ending a person's suffering. Nobody should continue to suffer with no cure in sight or way to improve.

I believe that it is the right of a terminally ill person to end their life, but only if it means ending terrible pain that cannot otherwise be prevented.

It's necessary. Especially if the patient want it to end the suffering. I think it's a good thing if it is practised correctly.
