He wants to belittle you as he gets a thrill out of power or you could be just ugly and he doesn't want to see your face or maybe he wants to imagine he's making love to someone else

Well, if he does it when you are being....let's say intimate, then he definitely has issues and I would get rid of him right away....scary thought. Unless of course there are other people in the house and you are wayyyyyy too noisy lol.

There arent any details here to go on, but that is very strange behavior! Ask him, and tell him how you feel about it. I dont think that that is normal or okay behavior.
