You need a mix of protein to build and repair muscles, healthy fat and carbs to replace your energy reserves. Peanut butter jelly sanwiches with fruit is good! or pasta with meat sauce

You should eat a diet which contains all elements expected to be consumed during the race, in order to compensate them .unless u had intended to run the race in order to loose some of these elements.The elements usually lost during a running are sugar, fats, starch & carbohydrates.So u should eat a meal which contains some or all of these elements.

Something light like breakfast cereal or a bagel. Make sure you drink a lot of water though. You could eat something with high protein like peanut butter or eggs, after working your muscles hard, your body will take protein right to the muscles and beef it up.

First of all i told you to take a warm bath and sleep
then east plenty of water,better flavored and sweetend
then you can eat some drugs help your body to repair itself
there are many options
-B Complex vitamins
-Ginseng or ginko extracts
-some NSAIDs to reduce inflamatory and muscle ach(ibuprofen)

eat carbohydrate again

I would imagine eating before a race you would get nautious.

light , nutritious meals... Oatmeal & rasins....Fresh pineapple......banannas.......beans.....peanuts ....these type of foods will help your body replenish the things it used during your race....And drink water and sports drinks....
